If it's a flat tappet cam make sure it has enough zinc and phosphorus in it . It's referred to as zddp and you can buy it seperate as a additive if the oil you prefer doesn't have. Just Google zddp and you will.learn a lot. As far as fuel if it has never been apart then it does not have hardened...
