I put a hellwig bar on my 68 coronet, the biggest one I could get...I believe it is 1 3/8", and my car is not a factory sway bar equipped, made a HUGE difference for the better!

Sorry you took me as being a jerk, I promise I wasn't. Not defensive just stating my case, if I listened to everyone's negative comments on parts I would have a shell of a car. Anytime S/S springs pop up in conversation I feel the need to state my experience and they have been nothing but...
You've got to be kidding me? This is a joke right? Poor handling and wheels locking up..haha....yeah ok. S/S springs paired with the correct shocks actually give a decent ride, contrary to what most will say...I run S/S on both my cars and the ride is so good that my wife has yet to complain...
Yes you should definitely run the longer shocks. I'm using the mopar performance shocks to match those springs. Same shocks on my 70 dart and 68 coronet....both with S/S springs.... both with great ride quality

Hmmm, I'll have to look at the kit I used. My 68 coronet has 68 B body hard lines and I'm using a mid 70's A body disc setup with the A body hoses I believe
I'll be following this one. My buddy has a 4 wheel manual willwood setup on his car now and has been battling crappy brakes. Pedal was hard as a rock at 1st with poor stopping performance, discovered the difference in brake pedal leverage b/t power and manual brakes. Fixed that, now the pedal...
You can use a mitivac vacuum pump or a power flush machine. I have both, both will do the job. Vacuum will tale longer. I like the vacuum for pulling the old stuff out and pressure for pushing the new through the system.
I used steel lines from right stuff detailing on my 68 coronet. Every one of them, bends were perfect. Zero issues, would definitely use again. Both my cars are using their disc/drum master cylinder too. I think it's listed under E-body cars though.
Sorry about the long rant, I felt their customer service was top notch And you don't see that very often unfortunately. I don't mind praising folks like that !
Huge shout out to the crew over at DMT ! I ordered an upper steering column bearing for my coronet thinking it was the cause of my rubbing noise and high pitch squeal when turning the wheel. Well it didn't, ended up being the lower bearing. Great, out comes the column ! I ordered a lower...
They're not vehicle specific, pick by weight ... to run these springs on a B- body you need the extended front spring hangers. My dart has 002/003 springs and my coronet has 2 456's .. both cars sit level. I'm only running 2 right side springs on the coronet because the left side doesn't have...
No ! Absolutely not ! Honestly was just messin with ya ..... I personally am not a fan of air shocks, if I buy a car And they're on there they go right in the garbage. I'll get my ride height from the leaf springs, and paired with the right shock you'll have the look and ride quality.
