i love it now on highway she purrs at 2100 at 70 . got the speedo gear perfect and fit the 90 angle adapter from a corvette kept the original speedo...
i i imagine the welding was tedious , i ve seen a few cars come in the shop that people started welding in new floors or frame rails
they don't realize that you have to screw them down and tack it in corner by corner and bit by bit

no cutting of floors, you can do what I did , depends on your car , like if it s super clean and nice I would buy the ones that are molded to the floor

no floor welding , but I did weed it to the bottom braces of the seat so now that 's really solid
the car is really not rusty at all and very solid I just like the fact that the front and back are connected and tougher now

I made myself some frame connectors from square tubing.
I know they made the custom ones but , this is a hot rod not a collectors item
I want to drive it as much as possible.

just began fitting my 700r4 on my slant six, not to much cutting of body
the trans lines up pretty good , just have to make a proper mount now.
the speedo looks like it will a bit of a issue but i ill see if i can get a 45 angle to make it work better if not going to cut some more .going to add...

when i was working at gm dealer i stocked pilled theses rear adjustable rod from buick century
when they came in bent from being smashed i new they would come in handy . I'm going to custom make one to fit the adjustable part of it is why i kept them , they sell them on ebay for cheap as a set...
wow quite the mod with disc brakes in the back what about the gas tank . the bar in the rear looks like it comes close . will check it out further. thanks for the help
