Depending on how often you plan to use it, they can be pricey. I build my own using 2x2's and plastic sheeting for a fraction of the cost.

Could be the fuel is dead heading at the regulator, a return line recirculating your fuel would probably help with the percolating/heat issue.

Build a stand of some sort. Metal, wood...something to anchor the beast otherwise you'll be chasing it across the garage floor

If it's a factory unmolested 318 you probably shucked the cam gear teeth since these were nylon. Had the same thing happen to my 73 Charger coming home from work, it just died. Since all that junk went to the bottom of the pan and the car had over 100000 miles on it I opted out for a rebuilt...

Lobe separation is key to vacuum the more lobe separation the more vacuum 110-112 is a sweet spot for a lot of builds.

Pretty sure the door size / shape is the same between HT, post or convert. Wouldn't make sense back in the day to create new tooling to satisfy 1 model that was basically the same body shape as the other offerings, that is if your just looking for door weather stripping. Now the quarter windows...

None that I'm aware of. Most seams along the fire wall and cowl are sealed from the inner fire wall and from the engine bay..at least that's what I found when I chiseled out all the old sealer on my 68 Charger.

My wiper arms are made of stainless steel. The soda blast basically removes the oxidation and contaminates from the surfaces and gives it a uniform matt appearance. The soda is less aggressive than glass or sand. I prefer the matt finish to a shinny finish, don't like the reflections when...

I soda blasted mine, came out sweet.

Macini racing has a 2" drop base that might help with your clearance issues.

XL-3 is the stuff to use with your gear oil of choice, Valvoline , Redline...all great gear oils.

No numbers present that I can see. All the lobe and bearing surfaces are fine, no signs of ugliness. Lift is around .320, no idea what lobe separation or duration it has

I'll try and get you some info on the purple shaft. I liked it when it was in the car, had a nice lope to it. I'll get back to you with some pics and info.

Dang that sucks. I would recommend sending it back and finding another bump stick. I have a used older purple shaft out of my 440 that I could part with if interested. I went with a bullet cam for my new build (flat tappet, 278 adv, [email protected], 576/576 lift 1 1.6, 110 LSA)
