Welcome to B-Bodies! And congratulations on becoming a '69 Charger owner! I am rather new here myself, having just joined during the summer.
My wife and I were just 23 each when we bought our '69 Charger new (F3 Light Green Metallic, Black vinyl buckets, 383 HP, 4-speed). We still have it, I...
Update on the restoration. Steve Barr of Barr's Classic Auto Restoration in Greenville, NC picked up the car yesterday. He did a repair and paint job on my '73 MG Midget and did a great job. I expect this one will be just as good.
G'day, Mate! My wife and I spent our 50th anniversary in your part of the world in 2017. Did Melbourne and Alice and Cairns and Sydney, but flew right over Newcastle. Sorry we missed you.

Thanks to everyone...
69 Sleeper Bee: The only time I considered selling the Charger was in 1973 during the first gas crisis. Gee, whiz! How could we afford to feed that monster engine at 50 cents per gallon?
I am the original owner of 1969 Dodge Charger, XP29H9B280166, special-ordered at Tait's Huntsville Dodge in Huntsville, Alabama on 15 January 1969. My wife chose the color (Light Green Metallic, Code F3) and she left it to me to order it with the 383 HP engine, 4-speed, and black vinyl. We...
