    Starting problem

I thank every one for their ideas about this . It was a ignition problem, the electronics in my Mallory distributor burned up probably when programing my Digital gauges, lesson learned, unplug the ignition before messing with digital stuff save a head ache, even if it's just for a couple minutes.

    Starting problem

I will look into that, it does seem to me that the carb is starving, It has been a intermittent thing for a while now, hard to start and floods easily though.

    Starting problem

It just stops firing, just enough to say I heard it fire. The MSD is new, I just got over another problem of not running and replaced it. A few month's back it wouldn't fire at all and I found a bad ground which has solved the problem until now but this time it does make a "igniting noise" but...

    Starting problem

When starting I get on little cough out of my 440 w/ Holley 850 but then nothing just cranks. The carb smells like gas and is wet with mist, I have fuel pressure at the inlet, it does "catch" briefly when cranking but won't fire. It did fire yesterday to back it out of the garage but will not...

    How do you remove....

I just went out to look at one of mine and the pin seems to be a long thin rivet. I would either grind off the rounded part of the head and punch through (very carefully) or if you have drill bits small enough drill out/off the flared over side of the rivet head and then punch through that way...

    front end woes

Thanks for the help, I replaced the front end with a RMS AlterKtion front end and it works so good. It's like "riding on rails" now. Never did figure out the original problem but it is fixed now.

    front end woes

Anyone have experience with Unisteer rack and pinion steering and the geometry associated with retro fitting them? This was posed to me as a potential problem and one that I'm going to eliminate, but just wondered if anyone else had used unisteer and any problems with it. - - - Updated - - -...

    front end woes

I have the front end from hades in a 70 SuperBee. Every time it's aligned I roll forward and the front is out within 50 feet of traveling and goes back straight again when going backwards. I can not keep it going straight with any mods done! I'm contemplating a AlterK front end, or the...
