Hey Guys.
Had my Coronet running fine for a short time, and suddenly shut off. Turned out to be the magnetic pickup trigger inside the MSD 6al. Had it repaired and 10 minutes after I had it running it suddenly shut off again. Tested the box, same issue. The white wire (points trigger)...
Thanks for the replies. Didn't want to spend $345 since I have the MSD box already. I bought a MP copy from Mancini that was a piece of junk. The reluctor was crooked and a loose piece fell out of the box when I opened it. Maybe just bad luck, but I returned it for a Firecore piece that...
The one I have is in bad shape. I just don't know what brand to go with. Not looking for anything fancy, I just don't want to buy a piece of crap either.
Can someone please recommend a good distributer to fit a 440 6 pack in a 70 Coronet R/T? I have an MSD 6al box but their dist is too long. The problem is it has to fit under the air cleaner.

Just swapped my orange box out for an MSD 6al. I ran the gray wire from the MSD box to a pin on the back of the tachometer. Problem is I dont remember where the previous wire ran to. I think the coil, but I'm not sure. So now when I turn the key on, the needle pinns itself all the way up...
Thanks BZ. Just squeezed my tired far *** under the dash and that's exactly where it went. Right to the tach. So I guess I can just get rid of that wire and run the gray wire from the MSD box to the same post that was on??
I'm in the process of changing my orange box for an MSD 6al. Everything seems to be going smooth, but there was a wire coming from the neg side of the existing MSD Blaster2 coil that goes through the firewall and I'm having a hard time tracing it. I have a feeling it goes to a ground, maybe in...
Wow! great pics. TTI said ther's nothing available and I would have to custom make something. That looks great. I'll try to find a set of them.
Thanks to all.
