That's the thing, nothing changed. The engine was refreshed a few years ago . I may drive 150 miles per year on it.

Small update. I pulled the intake off again and this time it was very well sealed. No signs of oil leaking into the intake ports. Just waiting on gaskets and my buddies leakdown tester. Next is pulling the valve covers to make sure the valve seals are in their proper position.

Picking up a leakdown tester tomorrow. What am I looking for? How much pressure should I check it at?

Yes the ports felt oily. Not dry.

Does it look like its pulling oil from there or is it just me? If it needs more then I'll contact hemirunner for a possible rebuild with upgrades. I'm not stressing out about this. I was ready to sell everything but came to my senses. Lol

It looks like it was pulling oil from the gasket area.

I changed the rear float since it was getting stuck, new oil and plugs. I may pull the intake again to see if that's the issue. I'm also going to do a leakdown test.

Alright back at it. Put the car away for the winter and now am seeing clearly again. I'll get to the bottom of this!

I will. Going to be changing the oil and plugs this week and looking down the ports to see if there are any signs of oil getting in from the intake gaskets again. I won't cut the seals off the plugs to eliminate that.

I'll check all of that. Thanks for the suggestions. I took a break from the car yesterday to cool down! I cut the seals/washers off the spark plugs, that's ok right?

Well did the gaskets and and still the same issue. I guess there is something going on with the rings/ bore. Strange that it just started suddenly.

I will check all of that and use sealer as well. Its apparent oil was being pulled in.

Well that wasn't the issue. Even at idle it smokes. Looks like I'll have to tear into it.

I presently don't have provisions for a PCV system with the Dominator.

Just found my rear float stuck down. It's like it swelled up a little and is rubbing the bowl. Will fix that 1st and give it a try.

No pcv. Just breathers. Gonna pull the intake and see if its pulling oil from there.
