I see that you are making your own 1/4 panel. Not an easy task by any means, but it does save $900 (from AMD) per side. I will follow this thread and best of luck on your restoration.
I too, just came upon this thread and am glad I did. I am very familiar with the 73/74 RR's and how they can be brought back to life. Some restored to near perfection and others to be a fun driver, and still others to be a fun project. It is the FUN part that, at times, is hard to keep going...
You can save those quarters, this one was pancaked and beat up by some chuckle head trying to do body work. Lots of work but turned out like this. You can do it!!!!!!

Yes, second the good luck with it part. They are fun to rebuild but they also make you pull your hair out. The satisfaction of that first road test is pretty high up on the scale. Since your are doing everything, only a few educated people will know the color she wants was not a factory color...
