Have patience, set aside a decent block of uninterrupted time, and enjoy the process. The grille on these cars is part of the magic. I taped off the back, used an etcher, and then sprayed. Use lacquer thinner on a Scott towel (or q-tips) and gently remove overspray from chrome parts. The face...
This is a demo thread to show my beloved dad how to add pictures to posts. It is not intended to create a discussion etc. However I KNOW some of you will not be able to resist responding!
The little one will roll. I used a razor blade to create some room along the sides of the rollers, I have taken them apart too and sand if you can, but I also broke one (pot metal). You just have to work and work at it, clean, lubricate, turn, turn, repeat repeat. Gradually they free up. Have...
4 speed, was tricky getting a good launch while trying not to break something. I could have REALLY dumped the clutch, the 60’ is brutal, also on a street radial, but I was careful. So careful I shredded the ring and pinion anyway.
Car 220 on the right. If you know how to read timeslips it’s...

I have a 67 383 4sp (sorry, not for sale), and there are a few sources for values. +20% for 4 speed. Personally I think a 4 speed is priceless, but there you go.

I don’t think getting a title is that expensive. The difficulty in doing a 1st Gen makes them more rare now, and I love mine, but they’re not cheap or especially easy to do.
Nicely done! Welcome from Saskatchewan. Looks like a really good find. Having brought cars in from the border was a PITA, but add in a vin error with Covid... yeesh.
I was just kidding- on a serious note you provided good information though, it’s hard and expensive to leap into purchases so sharing experiences here is valuable.
I used the disk-o-tech article and 73 cuda spindles, NOS rotors, there was some grumbling and a few hoses purchased, but it’s...
