    pulling engine

If it's just to replace some freeze plugs, consider replacing them with the engine in the car. Snapon makes a specific tool for that. If you must pull the engine, I've found it easier to drop it out the bottom if I don't have any help.

The most reliable engine ever made in a older American car

Yes and no. Don't know about all Pollys but my 1966 came with forged crank, rods bushed for full floating pins, and pistons notched for valve relief. It seemed close to a 340 than 318. I am sure it was a more expensive engine to produce than the LA.

    question about HEI conversion??????????

I did the HEI module conversion to two of my cars and it works great. I left the resistor on the firewall so it would look stock and just ran a wire from the 12 volt side of the resistor to the module.

Have you ever cut up a car with a sawzall?

Sadly, recently I couldn't sell my 1978 Magnum XE with a factory 400 so I ended up pulling the engine, transmission, and misc. parts; then cutting the car in half so I could load it in my pickup and take it to the scrap yard.

    Hard to Find Restoration Parts

I need the special parts for my 67 R/T too. How about the grill surround? It could probably be made out of fiberglass or plastic like new grills too. Also the seat medallions and rear quarter R/T emblems. Regards,

318 poly / stay or go

I had a poly and really liked it. They are a great engine. Next to a Hemi it probably has the best volumetric efficiency of any Mopar engine. Put a 4" stroker crank in it and you have a real torque monster. Regards,

    interior search

Legendary carries them. I've had some problems with their service and the fit of the rear seat covers for my 1966-1967 Charger, but the covers for my Coronet seems to be fine. https://www.legendaryautointeriors.com/webmodules/catcatalog/dtl_allcatalog.aspx?id=AA&make=C&year=67&desc=coronet...
