I’ve had multiple 215 and 216 fans with the single white part number stamp. Most of the original fans I’ve had that included the original viscous clutch unit have had the single white part number stamp.
I agree, originally gloss; however, most rattle can gloss blacks come out way too glossy. I’ve had good results with John Deere Medium Gloss paint (Part TY25638)
I have one of those and have seen enough like it to think they designed that way as an over the counter offering. The cut line on mine and others I’ve seen is too uniform to have been done by hand and was done during stamping in my opinion.
There’s usually a part number stamped near the valve stem. The size is also usually stamped inside the rim (hidden when the tire is mounted).
If I recall correctly, 15 inch Rallyes were either 7” inches wide or 6.5” wide.
