Probably nothing special about the engine internally. Just an LP carb conversion. It was a genset so it probably is very low houred, clean inside because of the LP and it only ran 1800 RPM. Good engine to have.

Edelbrock makes a Pro-Flow 4 with a single plane intake so it would look closer to stock.

What kind of throttle cable is going to work with that?

I put the correct speedo gear in the trans. Factory speedometer is +/-2mph with my phone GPS.

Is the intake a single plane? From most of the pics I've seen they are showing a SB Chevy. Just wondering how tall the intake is. Hopefully it isn't Victor height.

I'd go with the Mancini kit that uses the Firecore distributor. These distributors are easy to adjust the mechanical advance if needed. The others might not have the ability to adjust without major work. I've been running a Firecore for 3 years now...
