Hi everyone,
Needing some expert advice from regarding how to identify the YEAR (if that makes a difference) in my 8 ¾ housing and Sure Grip punkin’. I have a 489 SG in my 66 Belvedere and would like to know exactly what year it came from. Any numbers I can search,…any identifying marks...
That's what I was thinking -- although I don't have a collapsible shaft on the 66 (I believe that started in '67). Sound easy enough to do accomplish without too much difficulty. With that, then I suppose you could just leave the steering wheel in-place and pull the entire steering column...

Hi Guys,
Just a quick question regarding replacing the power steering coupler on my 66.
When replacing the steering coupler, do you have to slide/pull the steering shaft (up through the steering wheel) so that the coupler can be installed? I need to have mine replaced due to age and...

Just to be clear, I can NOT use these assemblies / Lights as everyone might expect. I have a 66 Belvedere with a 67 trunk lid.

Hi Everyone,
When I had my 66 Belvedere in the driveway, changing brakes & had the rear axel's out, I got caught in a Hail Storm a few months back. Although I tried to protect it the best I could, my ride suffered some damage, as well as destroying my windshield. I was really sick about...
I have a 68 block in my 66. 383 with the following: Comp cam # CCA 21-242-4
It has .501 lift, 292 duration, 106 Centerline and 110 lobe separation. I also have 906 heads with Hooker Super Comp headers. Sure Grip rear. I like mine and wouldn't change it for the world.
