On a factory 318 3-speed manual floor shift Roadrunner, I'd be looking to throw in a 440 with a 4-speed. I know the K-frame is the same, but what about the shifter hole, and the tranny mount? Would this be a simple swap, with no fab required? Thanks.

Even in my youth, my 69 Charger was an April to November car. My '85 Charger 2.2 did the daily commute and Winter duty. The 69 wasn't pristine, but I didn't want any rot on her.

Here in the east, snow and ice = salt on the road... Salt = ROT!! There's no reason not to get an 2006 Hyundai POS to get to work in the Winter.

My Coronet had no fender tag, and was only a 318/904, so that gave me the freedom to change whatever I wanted... at least in MY mind. Among these was changing the blue interior to black. However, a numbers-matching GTX may be a different story. I love the black.
