I remember the day my mom and I were riding with my aunt in her 66 Satellite. It was summer of '67 and we stopped for gas. Full service in '67 by the way. Gas station attendant didn't replace the cap. That's likely what happened to most of those original caps. Before the end of the day, my uncle...
Here's a 66 a buddy of mine bought a few years ago. I took these pictures when he took it for a test drive.
And the last two pictures are of a similar one that I owned back in the '80's.
383 2-bbl would have had V-8 emblem. 383 4 bbl would have had 383 4 bbl emblem.
Not all that many 383 4 bbl 67 Coronet 500's made. My choice with the original poster's question would be to leave the 383 4bbl emblems and simply remove the 440 pie tin. Give it the impression that it's stock. If...
Actually, no, I don't. Kind of embarrassed to admit that since I like trains. I have an HO scale train layout in my basement, but its Baltimore and Ohio of the 50's-60's that I like. I know nothing about Norfolk and Southern even though its N&S that comes through my little town a few times a...
My two wagons. The tan one will hopefully come together soon. The white one (the "Battle Wagon") may never see the new paint job it deserves (its rough, but super reliable).
Maybe my yellow convertible will appear more yellow and less faded to white in these photos. The yellow convertible is the newest addition to my collection. It was delivered from the midwest an hour after I got home from Chrysler Carlisle less than two weeks ago.
Well, no, not in those pictures. My yellow convertible is somewhat faded. It's not white.
But, if you are looking for a patriotic red white and blue trio of 67 B bodies, I can accomodate that request using my 67 Belvedere wagon.
The wheel opening moldings on the 67 Coronet RT were also used on the 66 Coronet 500. The front wheel opening moldings were also used on the 66 & 67 Charger (but the rears were different on the Charger. At least it isn't 1967 RT Only pieces that you're looking for.
Though you didn't mention...
Thanks. I asked the question in that thread if anyone has tried the bulbs in the Coronet. Its the location of the reflection in the tail light lens directly over the bulb that has made it difficult to find an 1157 LED bulb that works.
I know there have been several discussions about #1157 style LED tail light bulbs, but my question is which ones to use in a 67 Coronet. With the stock bulbs, my buddies tell me the tail lights are difficult to see in the day time through the bright chrome grille work.
I have tried some...

Oh, it definitely is. I just don't see myself being the one to restore it. It would likely mean welding in sections on the quarters, roof, and D pillar, around the rear side glass, from a doner wagon. Also has rust and bondo in the spare tire well in the right rear quarter, and on the trunk...
