Hello all. So I was getting the 383 back together and came up short one head bolt. Anyone have a extra? Things are just snugged up at the moment so I could get it cleaned and painted. It's one of the 5 longer ones. Thanks!

Nothing like a pistol grip to row the gears with! I always felt the press in handle had to much slop in it. I pull out the press in stuff and drill a couple holes and bolt it in. I also drill and tap the housing and add the positive stop bolts.

Thank you all for the responses! The link to andy440 page is extremely informative. Another little interesting thing, the T7 says it should have a tach but it has a clock instead. Guess it could have been replaced with the clock sometime in its life. Just a little history on this car...my good...

Will the fender tag on my 68 Runner tell me if it should have a vinyl top or not? I have used the online decoders and they don't say yay or nay. Would there be another code stamped on the tag for a vinyl top? Thanks all!
