I have 28 inch 255/70/15 tires on the back with a suregrip 354 or 355 not sure but I run 70 at 3000rpm. I find that a perfect combo as I just didn't like the 4:10 I had without an overdrive.

I had never heard of mixing them like this until I found out mine had 2 340 carbs and 1 440 carb. But when I googled it I found that this is considered a great performing setup and the carb guy who did mine does this a lot for Hipo street 440's.

The combo is rare. My 65 is also originally a 383 4brl 4 speed. Let me know if you part it out as I am looking for a trans and shifter clutch and pedal etc..for a possible conversion back to 4 speed
