I built that cage and bolted it on. Catches 3 oil pan bolts on each side. It is beat to snot, but the oil pan survives. I finally got my Milidon road race pan. Took over 9 months.
I was concerned that 275's would not work on the front. Going to stay with the 255's.
Autocross. It has 255/60-15's all the way around now and it is time for new tires. I daily drive this car, along with autocross and drag race.

These are 18" and 20" on a 73. The wheel opening are different than on your wagon, make sure you have the room. The rear tires I went with are 265 /45 R20 and are 29.4" tall. The fronts are 245/50 R18 and are 27.7" tall. You wont find an 18" and 20" tire in the 24" to 26" tall sizes like you...
Thinking it over the last few days, the drag radials may be a bad choice. This is a convertible car. It has frame connectors, but no roll cage. It may not be a good idea to put too sticky of a tire on it.
The Michelin's may be the better choice for a convertible.
Thats the dilemma. This is a street cruiser. So the logical choice would be the all season performance tires, General or Michellin. On the other hand, even on the street people see the car and expect it to jump and go, right now I get tire smoke. The Mickey Thompson Drag Radials would be best...
I have to decide on what tires to put on the 69 Hemi car. It makes over 700 WHP. That makes the decision a little tough. Sizes I need are Front 245/45-17, Rear 275/40-17
