My driveshaft angle is 2 1/2 degrees. Placing the degree tool on the U joint mount, the rear end is pointing downward 1/2 degree. What size shim do I need to place on top of the springs?

I brought up the shorty version only because it wasn't so damn long and out of balance when installing the transmission. Im thinking about this in a 1964 wagon. From what you have experienced, I understand the tunnel is smaller than on later cars.
There must be some here who have installed it. Real world opinions appreciated.

The cam in my 66 Belvedere is the infamous "3/4 race cam", whatever that is. Being an automatic, the idle is about 1,200 & when you drop it in gear, it drops down to about 600 & barely wants to run. Not to mention that it produces no vacuum at 600 rpm for the power brakes. So. my intention is to...
