Im glad you guys like them.. Here is a picture when i first tore it down, you can see those caps, there plastic in case you might be worried about heat as a reason to put something else over them, if that were the case, i don't think they would put plastic lens over bulbs closer then anything...

The way i did mine isint what most would do but i used some 1/8 inch thick insulation board, a friend gave me a 1/2 truck load of it and never did know what i would use it for, I have no idea what it was for as thin as it was but when the time came i thought about it and it was easy to work...
