I went with 15x8 sounds like 15x7 would have been a good choice

End result, 15" wheel with 4" offset I went with a 255 60 R15 and it just fits. A 275 would have rubbed

Thanks your right I meant backspace, I was out there for hours last night taking measurements and agree a 255 is about as large as it can handle. The 70 gave you a better stance over the 60?

What’s the largest tire anyone has on the rear of a 64 Belvedere? My wheel is 15x8 with a 4” offset and I’m thinking a 275 60 R15 might fit but it will be close

Yes it’s one piece and I did it with a buddy of mine. Not easy but it came out great and a lot cheaper than the quotes I got

1964 Belvedere Street Wedge 4 speed, been working on this beast for 1-1/2 years now on/off. Just finished putting in new floors - does anyone have any undercarriage pictures that show where the emergency brake cable tension brackets go (approx) I had measured it our but lost the data.

I know in the 70’s you could find vin stamps on the radiator support and other areas, does anyone know where the may be on a 64 Belvedere or was that not the practice yet

Here is an update on the 64 Wedge 4 Speed, I have decided not to restore the exterior but I had to attack the interior as the floors were very bad.

I checked everywhere on day 1 even dropped the tank ( long shot)

No build sheet that was the first thing I looked for.

Thanks, I have been thru both of these sites and cant find the decode of line #1 for a 64 Belvedere. Found some data for a 65 but it doesn't correlate to the 64.
