small block H2O pump bolts into water jackets

There are FOUR main bolts to put sealer on. There are two on each side of each water port on each side of the block. Those are the main ones to put sealant on.......but I always put it on every damned one because they have a habit of rusting regardless. Water will migrate into the holes going...

Coolant leaks past exhaust manifold mounting studs.

I'm beginning to think maybe we should have a permanent tech area somewhere on here. This and stuff like correct rocker shaft installation comes up a lot. It's easy stuff to make mistakes on too.

    electric fan size, cfm

Right, but keep in mind something. That's 4.88" thick at the thickest point. You don't think you could rotate or position the fan so that the thickest point would clear? I mean, WHERE in relation to the fan is your 3" minimum? Get what I'm sayin?

    Cooling advice for aftermarket AC

I agree about the clutch fan. In particular, the Mopar Performance Viscous Fan Package is tough to beat. I would put the biggest radiator in it that will fit. Go with an aluminum one with two 1" or 1.25" rows of flues and it will never run hot.

Good. I was gonna hammer on you for the "cheapest one" remark. All that work and you wanted the cheapest one. Glad you didn't do it. Good job, too.
