Well, reinstalled the pump and works great. Had to pull the seal the old fashion way, small pin punch and a 6 oz ball/peen hammer from the other side.
Thanks "PNORA" for the "ATF" tip, worked great.
Oh, the reason I went this route is the rebuild kit was only $21. So, hopefully that seal doesn't make up the difference with a huge frustration factor.
The rebuild kit came with all new parts, gasket/bearing/brushes/elec leads... and that that tiny little seal, that I'm trying to figure out how to get out of that pocket they stuck it in. My hope is that someone has a trick setup/technique they use, that I can replicate, so I dont have to start...
