I am putting a front & rear disk brake conversion on my dads 67 GTX. It has front & rear drum manual brakes right now. Anyone have any ideas on what master cylinder to use & if there is any thing else I have to change ? Thanks
OK I got it fixed. I loosened the top 2 bolts & smacked the area with the valve in it forward. No change. So I smacked it all the way back. Now the steering wheel turns by its self to the right. So I just kept smacking it forward a little at a time until I found where it wouldn't rip out of...
Has anyone put on a new power steering pump & box & when you start the car the steering wheel whips out of your hands & to the left. Does something like that need bled ?
New tires, new alignment, It does it every time you put the brakes on no matter the road surface. Its done it ever since the car has been. We didn't drive it much. We had other things & other projects going on. So we didn't look into it & time went on & dad passed away.
My dads 67 GTX has front drum brakes. Everything is new. When you put the brakes on it pulls to the right a little. My dad did some adjusting one time & its a little better but still not right. He never told me what he did. Anyone know what to do to fix it ?
The 11.75 rotors had the wrong bearing sizes. Inner & outter. Didn't matter if it was years 75 or 77. Now the 11.00 inch rotor had the right size bearings but was to small dia.
Here is what I found out & did. Went to my local napa & ordered rotors, bearings & seals for a 75 cordoba. The rotor size is right 11.75 The bearing size is wrong for my spindle. So I took them back. I ordered ones for a 77 cordoba. With them the rotor is the wrong size 11 inch but the bearing...
