No it will no see much sun light. Plus I myself have not been able to find flat clear coat in a spray can. When it comes to a flattening agent that you add to your clear that you spray out of a gun is very expensive. Yes 3 coats is good Should last a long time
What did you do for seat belts on your mopar that didn't come with seat belts from the factory ? I have a 62 polara that didn't have them but it does have the threaded areas in the floor.
No need for primer. It will never see weather. Paint it in several coats. several light coats are better than 1 or 2 heavy coats. Let us know how it turns out
