I changed my snubber to 1 I found in a box of parts I had...it is not adjustable but is taller than stock...there is evidence it hits but not to hard. The adjustable was too tall
Man do I remember trying for the 12s...lol. I got to 12.5 . for reference..72 charger stock bottom end, ported, bigger valves 906 heads milled 30 thou, .509 cam holly 800 mechanical secondary, 3500 stall, 4.30 gear, Same tires. 60 ft times were 2.3. Crossed the line about 106 to 108.

get the car out of the garage for the first time in 3 years....all new brakes...all shocks...pick out a cam that will work well with a 3:73 or 3:91 gear....buy a 3:91 or 3:73 gear...2800 or 3500 stall ,I have both so??...If I figure that out Ill be happy.
nice...my foot used to shake when sitting at the line....I had my car down to 13.5s on bf goodrich raidal T/A tires...When I went to slicks it jumped to 12.6....best I ever got was 12.5s. have fun it only gets better!!
4.30....that same gear was in my 340 cuda for like 4 years before it went in the charger..the cuda was a daily driver..I went with 3.23 in the charger last summer and cant stand it.
I was not allowed on the track with the ss and slicks....they said the uni lug was not safe...when I put slicks on non uni lug rims (weld wheels) I had to use lugs that were 1 inch long passed the top of the lug nut..Detroit drag way
The first time I went down the track I didnt know much about drag racing....drive it yourself your foot will be shaking a little at the line and a lot at the other end.
with street tires let some air out run them kinda soft....drive around the burn out box and any water... then do what you do when yer racing a mustang gt....
I run the Holly Street Dominator with a Holly 800 manual secondary 906 heads .509 cam some porting 3500 stall 4:30 gear stock 72 pistons...car weighs 3600 on a truck scale... was running 12.5s with that combo for about 3 years...not too sure if the times we good but it was fun tryin to go...
