I've dealt with this guy several times and he does top-quality Mopar dash/cluster resto work for a fair price, sending detailed communication and photos at every step of the process:

Mine was doing that too, but it was the battery. After being killed a dozen times by a parasite drain over the past three summers when I forgot to turn the shutoff switch, the battery held about 5% of its capacity. First few times I hit the brake pedal and sent the needle into "discharge"...
Ten minutes really isn't long enough for heat soak to be the problem, I don't think. Is it a full-sized starter or a mini? If it's FS, is it jammed right up against a header pipe?
I drove my car for almost two months with a big gaping hole where the gauges used to be while the cluster was being resto'd. Just go with the flow of traffic and remember to keep the gas tank full.
 Wow, major dyslexia on my part! Make that C59YC racing plugs. (Guess that speed-reading class didn't work so well....)
Don't wanna derail this thread, so the short version on replacement is that because I store the car for 4-5 months (only 3 this year since summer hit in March), I pull...
Hey Rusty, I've got a crate 408 stroker that came with these plugs in it new, so I've been replacing each year with the same plugs. Can I go with something cooler, or is it better to stay with what the builders picked?
IMO, Optimas sell because they look cool. I've got a basic black O'Reilly's lead box with a vintage Mopar Batteries decal on it, and it's four years old now. Sits in the basement (not on concrete) from December to April, gets trickle-charged in spring, and causes no trouble as long as I remember...
If you go to Year One's website and sign up for email alerts, they'll send you the discount code every week. Sometimes it's only 20%, so wait for a 30% before ordering high-dollar items like wiring harnesses.
I've got the double-ground cable on my '72 also, and I want to move a Flaming River battery disconnect switch to inside the car from its current spot near the battery. I'm tired of lifting the hood to disconnect, and need to disconnect because I've got a %$*&# parasitic drain from hell. The...
Mini hi-torques are beautiful things, but I hear you about the pretzel-arm routine. I had to disassemble my "anvil" in pieces because it was wedged between the block and header. Took three days of turning screws and bolts 1/8" at a time between the header pipes. :icon_rolleyes:
