Regardless of the Polaroid, I washed and waxed the Charger more than once.
The "pastel tone" of Lemon Twist/Top Bananna is either difficult to match or "left out". I do like the color of my 70 Roadrunner, but it's "close" to Lemon Twist, but probably not a 100% match.
The yellow on the Charger...
I want to say the yellow on my 71 Charger R/T was "solar yellow" but that was a LONG time ago. The paint was 100% factory, and not some "off color" yellow, but it seems like it was more pastel than my 70 Roadrunner in Lemon Twist, but my Roadrunner is not the factory original paint.
Anyway, I...
True, or the Indy ModMan, but out of all of the way too much research I did on 6bbl intake options, the Weiand P3690982 6bbl gave the best performance, other than custom hand fabbed.
Well, if it didn't need carburetors on it I would have a little air space w/my N96 hood.
Last time I removed the Edelbrock/Chrysler 6bbl aluminum intake, I only had a day or 2 because I needed to be able to move my car in case Cristobal flooded my property, so my measurements were cursory.
Since...
I "get it".
I'm not going to look for the dyno comparison right now, but on a modest built up 440, a factory dual plane 6bbl intake went head to head with some modern day performance intakes and 4bbl carbs. Bottom line is the torque was basically equal or superior (wider) with the 6bbl and it...
I bought a N96 hood from AMD because I think the 70 style Air Grabber is THE best looking fresh air intake of the entire muscle car era bar none.
Now I'm faced with having to have about 4" more height to clear my Weiand 6bbl intake.
I was going to install the Air Grabber in a flat top cowl...
All greatly appreciated and worthy of further review as I certainly don't want to have the Air Grabber as a detriment to performance. I am strongly considering a K&N taller than stock Oval air filter because of this:

I read somewhere that the factory...
There are a number of really good wrap shops around the "greater" geographical location I'm in. Hydrographics would be ideal, because I've seen that and they truly do look like that deep, dimensional clear coat over the carbon fiber material, but I haven't seen that effect with a wrap, which to...
I emailed Glasstek. They have a couple of "cowl" scoops that look ideal in that they do NOT have a center line, which is how it must be because of the Air Grabber door, at least flat except for the very front, which is like the factory hood.
The CF hood pic is the finish I want, and similar to...
Thanks a lot.
As far as I know, no one "makes" the hood I need. I have my paint and body guy, who does more than that with classic cars, but is exceptionally talented and most importantly trustworthy and reasonable working on sourcing the hood. So I don't see any way possible to see the hood I...
I am going to need about a 5" high cowl the width and depth of the normal power bulge for my 70 Roadrunner.
I have been looking at fiberglass, but by the time I get it paint matched, I could get a carbon fiber hood. "Natural" dark gray/black with that beautiful deep clearcoat looking epoxy...
This car is @Dennis H 's car:
And these are some at Cruisin the Coast:
Here's a web pic of a 71 Charger:
And my 71 Charger was similar:
Now my repainted 70 Roadrunner:
That's where the dandelion paint comes in. It adds "creaminess".
I really like yellow that pops, but NO GREEN in it, at all, and no school bus yellow either, because that's too dark.
OTOH, Lemon Twist is not pastel either.
My 71 Charger R/T was factory original yellow, if anyone knows what color...
Dandelion was a color used to mix to match my Lemon Twist.
May not help, not sure what brand, but I remember it was the name of the primary color used.
