truck and motorhomes with the dash mounted shifter have a cable to operate the shift arm much the same as aftermarket floor shifters. Your trans still has a shift arm where the true cable shift trans have the cable going into the trans.
same here I've got a couple pair i would give away plus a whole bunch of other stuff but no one wants to even come look at any of it. With scrap prices so low it doesn't pay to haul stuff the 100 miles to sell.

the motor was in a 77 3/4 pickup. not sure if it was original to that put have no reason to believe it wasn't.It had the rear sump pan with dipstick in the pan.I have seen lots of pickups and motorhomes like this but this is the only block i've used. the port is there just not machined. I still...
my 77 truck block had a gob of cast plugging the top of the hole. I drilled it from the pan side up and then took a die grinder to smooth of the top for the dip stick tube to fit on flush.
