    1969 Dodge Coronet Value

Sometimes your heart is set on a car, and you don't want to hear the bad. We just don't want him to get bamboozled. Then again maybe he is working this weekend like I am stuck doing!

    1. Engrave this in stone. 2. Remember, anything that cannot be proven visually or with significant documentation, Probably didn't happen/isn't true. 3. The seller wants to SELL it. Therefore white lies really aren't lies in his mind. 4. FBBO members don't let other FBBO members become victims.

    1969 Dodge Coronet Value

There are a few threads on FBBO and FABO about good people being snookered on cars they bought. If the seller isn't your Mother, don't believe anything absolutely. And if your Mother is Ma Barker...lol. Seriously, for the money they will want, verify everything! Good luck with your search.

Chrysler used what they had back in the day. Running changes at the beginning and end of a production year were not uncommon. Yes, I believe your engine was originally turquoise.

    383/440 proclaimed horsepower ?

The Bee was a lotta car for the money. There was more than 5 hp on your side racing the Coronet. Which was a nice cruiser by its own right. Not too many of them left. Just for fun, here is one of the "Match Race" threads. Enjoy...

    383/440 proclaimed horsepower ?

Nope. See post 58 in the 383 vs 440 GTX thread. You were more than 5 hp up on him. Assuming both cars were in good tune.

    383/440 proclaimed horsepower ?

I miss him on FABO, he also did threads he called "match race" where he paired 2 musclecars from back in the day in a play by play style race. They were great. Paul was a racer from back in the day, and he made learning about that era so much fun.
