Were these sets of scoops made by Mopar or were they after market? I have never seen a Mopar scoop warp, and I have seen plenty of them on the east coast and in Florida with it's sunny days.
Rust?
Is there any rust on the underside of the hood? From what I see on the top side , any good body shop could straighten that out and if prepped right, should hold for years. I have a racer that dad built in 1962 and it still has the original filler in it.
Also, we can't forget the fact that the 63-64 Plymouth hood has a very slight arch to it and they also have those 2 bumps in the hood that would be keeping any hood scoop up in the air.
