what is the best way to get the stainless trim around the windshield off my 62 dart without messing it up....

its well past just white rubbing compound. going to take some fine wet paper and elbow grease. il polish it up and clear it. don't think il get the door thing done before snow fly's. il spend the winter snowed in dealing with all that trim. ..lol

ya .. i went out and hit a spot with some fine paper and it clogged it. still seems to be a lot of meat left to work with.

im guessing stainless .. everything else but the headlight surounds is. it was a pain to unbend one of the slats in it.

judging from what yall are paying to have someone polish up your stainless .. il be doing my own. LOL. any tips on saving the grill that has been sand blasted by the TX wind on my 62??

are the 62 dart doors the same as the savoy? didn't think anything about it at the time. but there are holes for the Plymouth emblem and still paint where thay were.

ok. i got this 66-67 fiberglass hood a few years back in a package deal. it is super light weight 2 finger pick up. all hand laid glass. has all the right holes in all the right spots for all the right trim. no question it's from the last century. any way to know who made it? someone trimmed...
