I think that depended on the Performance Package you would order that year. If I remember, I think they had to types of Performance Packages and both came with the Sway bars. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Also I think the R/T was the high end car that year and then the SE.
T2R9 is correct. Definitely take out the seat. I just did this back in May. You may also need to unplug the connection to the fan switch module. You can also remove just the fan switch

72's will fit just fine with at least 2 of the holes aligning on each. You can always make tabs(drill new holes on the tabs) for the other 2 holes and with JB Weld attache 2 nuts and screw in the grill screws.
