Why not add a third pedal and get rid of the juice box.

I would have to dig up the cam card but as I remember it was in the 290ish area. It idles around 950.

As advised be sure it is not a Dana 61, they have 3 1/4 inch axle tubes, Dana 60s have 3". The axle splines vary from 10 in early models to 23 to 30 but you can change the side gears to get what you want. I have cut down a few over the years and it works great. You don't really need a pinion...

I have the PRW adjustable rocker arm on two of my 440s using Smith brothers push rods. After having seen the show room at Smith bros. I wouldn't use anything else. Also have Edelbrock on 1 engine and Trick Flow on the other. There is no comparison to the better machine work on the Trick Flow.

Measuring from the bell housing surface of the trans. I get 14 inches to the center of the B body 3 bolt shifter area and a total of 28.5 inches to the rear edge of the output shaft.

I agree with everything said, you must have 4:10 or 4:30 gears, if you go to 3:23 it will be like going to the other end of the universe. I went from 4:10 to 3:55 and thought it was perfect. If your tires are 27 inches tall or more 3:23 could be too much.
