After you do one quarter window and realize how it works/goes together, you will be an expert! After I got mine back together, I was installing the window crank, and the dang allen screw broke off! I tried eaze-outs, drilling out broken screw to no avail...had to find/buy another regulator, took...
You pretty much have to disassemble it INSIDE the quarter panel, then remove it. The key is removing the regulator from the glass bracket, by removing the spring clips attaching regulator to glass bracket (circled in pic below). As you disassemble everything, as MoparBill said the glass, glass...
I agree! Jeff is a great guy and his prices will never be beat! Anytime I need AMD parts Jeff is the go to guy.
Never I repeat Never buy anything from Queer One..... they are the antichrist of the car hobby.

Took the words right out of my mouth! Look for the most complete car you can find. I look on allofcraigs (search engine for all craigslists) from time to time to see whats out there, and you can still find complete cars for reasonable prices.
I think its gone now, but there was a red 68 on...
The only use for urethane is for cars with air bags, that's why it is used in all newer cars. I personally don't see an advantage using it on an older (pre-air bag) model.

I went out in the shop and looked, the p/n for 3M is #08611. I also bought a couple of those suction cups to hold/pick up the glass. I followed the instructions in the FSM, it was a piece of cake to install. My wife lent me a hand. Installing glass and trim took less than an hour.

When I bought my butyl tape for my rear glass (69 Charger), I bought the 3M brand 5/16" and the little spacers (rubber blocks) were included with the kit. I got the butyl at the local parts store, I'll check and see if I still have the box it came in and find a part number.

Not a '69 model, but I looked at this car a couple of years ago (almost bought it). It was a super nice solid '73. I was shocked when I raised the hood....it was a 225 Slant 6. I didn't take any pics of the engine, but here's the car.....

Back about 10 yrs ago, I saw a 69 Charger with a slant 6, column shift 3 speed. It was white with blue interior....wanted to buy it, but dude was wanting like 4500, and that was alot for a 6-banger charger 10 years ago, so I passed.

My 4 speed in the '73 is yellow. Its the numbers matching trans, I'm pretty sure it was painted yellow at one point, but I don't know why. I posted a couple of pics on dodge charger.com when I was replacing the seals/gaskets, and got a little ribbin' because of the yellow trans. I just left it...
Here's how my 69 R/T project sits right now.... cant wait until warmer weather, haven't been able to work on it in the last couple of weeks (temp in the teens and snow in Alabama... can you believe that?) well anyways here it is.........
Mine are rear mounted, and I used hoses for a fifth ave. They seem long enough and don't bind anywhere, but after I bought them I noticed alot of the guys doing this swap are using hoses for a 70 Monte Carlo because of the length. But like I said, the 5th Ave hoses seem long enough for me.
