70 Road runner Convertible, long time waiting

Thanks, The problem with the quarters is that they were installed 15+ years ago. They were the old style of skins which did not have the top body line and were overlap welded on the side. It would have been a cleaner job if butt welded, that was then and this what I delt with. After 15 years...

RoadRunnerMan, Thanks for the compliments on the deck work, I am going to work further tonight on the quarters. When this radio was made in 78 is when I graduated from High School. I was into the whole CB thing at that time in my life like others. It was the top of the line and my friends...

    1968 Satellite Convertible - Jezebel

It looks like some great work going into this convertible. I love the bracing for the rotisserie support. I have used POR 15 a lot on several cars. Is that the chassis black or just the POR 15? I see that you are starting the assembly process. The regular POR-15 needs a top coat because of UV...

I love black cars and your friend's 70 looks great with the black steels. Unfortunately, I live in South Florida when it comes to black cars. You cannot touch a black car after 5 minutes in the sun without putting burn cream on. The other night I found some original paint from the car. It...
