hello to all.i have 69 satty 383 4bbl,727 auto.im thinking because I didn't warm her up enough, about 5 minutes ,but this happened a few times ,engine cuts off like I ran out of Fuel, and i pumped the gas peddle ,then boom she backed fired,I pulled over after trying to start her after 2...

i got my remanufactured starter from autozone with the old trade in ,,50 bucks well spent,just sayin,have a good day.

i am happy you found the problem,good lesson for us all.

maybe in the bulk head,,,,,,,also check fusable link,,air cleaner,,carb lines.,,just trying to think of clues.fuel pump.. clogged fuel filter.

go to the search bar,type car wont start.there is a lot of posts,also go to mymopar.com.when there, to the left ,click tools/reference section..then, when your there click service manuals.they have your year.:)

you can download the car manual from the net,i cant say which one.

did those wires come off?look like they are from a starter relay.check the battery ground.also clean the battery terminals really well.what car and year and trans?

yes i tried that then i used scewdriver at the starter solenoid, it didnt start that way ,but there is spark... but then i taped the starter ,and then i used screwdriver at the starter solenoid it started..hhhmmmmm.lol????i am getting a new starter solenoid,just in...

when you say bypass the neutral safety switch,do you mean go around it and disconnect it at the starter relay at the firewall?sorry newbie here. so if it starts with it disconnected then that can be the problem right? also i am getting a new starter relay and...
