Yes happily we have a Sinclair that has premium no ethanol. A little tricky to find all over in premium.
Maybe that will help, I haven't tried it in hot weather yet since didn't have it last year. Might help surely won't hurt huh.
Only on a hot day after say a drive then get off freeway to a stop it stumbles like its going to dye. If you stop to get more fuel, hard to get started again right away.
Any other say 80s down it runs perfectly aways.
Can you explain where they are vented, I am eager to learn. I bought these carbs new back in 1982 and love them. Just trying to improve where I can for the heat I recently moved to.
I put put the moroso ones, that are two gaskets sandwiching a aluminum plate. I imagine they do help some. Many moons agoI had "1 inch plates but it ran bad so I didn't want to retune so I took them out.
My twin 500s have blocked offs where I believe I could add bowl vents, has anyone tried tried this?
I do have some vapor lock on super hot days so trying to do what I can.
Right center top of carb is where I am thinking it should go maybe with some tubes off a couple junk later carbs?
I am not a huge buyer from Scott, but when I know a customer of mine wants the best I will always think of him first and always get what I paid for plus some from him. He did a very rare Charger Holley for a client and I was so stressed about the outcome but I bolted it right on and it was perfect.
I have had really good luck at our hardware store, plumbing section and normal nut and bolt sections.
Most hold up well with the crap gas. It might help keep it going for a while longer.
