No clearance issues, then absolutely leave the stock hood on. Adding anything takes away from the lines.

I agree with 66. Save yourself the dilemma of receiving something that you might regret. A few dollars more is sure well spent at the point your at. I didn't buy AAR, I fell for the sales pitch and I regret it big time. It isn't a hood, but.... Good thing I'm retired - got lots of time...

It's more than obvious that this was going to end up bad in all ways. It was the best thing to do getting it out of there. The car will be fine sitting for awhile while you get a new plan in the works.

It almost sounds to me like the centre of the trunk lid and rear window cowl is not the same? If that is your problem you are able to raise or lower the cowl panel somewhat. Either a push from inside upward or you can also fit a wood block between the trunk lid and weatherstrip lip and close...
