I also agree it doesn't look factory. My best guess is while someone was checking the antifreeze, they wrote that on there. The R is for radiator and -15 degree as far as the antifreeze.
This is posted above my Donny.
"News Flash: This car and all the parts that go with it is now for sale. Seventy Five Hundred is what I want and this is the bottom line. Reason: No time, interests focusing on my Satellite, and the reality is this car needs to go. If anyone's interested, contact...
May just be the pictures, but it looks like it already has had a patch welded down one side. Appears to be on the other side than the side pictured. Looks like you may need a rail. IMO

I have not posted on this in a while, but have been working on it when I can. Just trying to pretty it up a little. Been working mostly on the engine replacing belts, hoses, and fluids.
Rebuilt the carbs along with installing the correct jets and rods. Set the valves and put some valve cover...
Great to see you with a new Project Will! Also glad to see that your wife is into the cars as well. It sure makes a happy home life! Or at least on my end. I have a 70-71 dart parts car if you need anything just give me a shout and I can check it out for you. Matt
Thanks to a friend, Martin Wimberly I was able to get this picture of my bee circa 1971 when the car was still owned by the original owner.
Thanks, Matt
Have been doing a little to the bee along when I can. I got the exhaust manifolds off and blasted. Coated the with POR15 manifold paint and replaced the gaskets. I got to say that is not a fun job to do with the engine in the car.
Been trying to get my carbs right as well. I have also been...
No idea on how many white bees were built. This car was originally QQ1 blue metalic.

Thank you very much. I appreciate that alot.

I have been trying to do some research on 68 hemi bee's. As best I can research so far they built 94 hemi automatic 68 bee's, 31 hemi 4 speed, and 3 export hemi's to Canada.
Matt
I have saw your car and progress on moparts. You have a nice project going! It does not get much better than a TX9 4 speed 69 Bee.

I really hope so too. It really is one of those cars that deserves to be done up right. Thanks, Matt
Here is the old girl on the trailer the night before I took her to the new owner.
I did talk with him a couple of days after he got it and he said the new engine started right up and seemed like a really good motor.
Matt
No need to be jealous. It honestly was one of those right place right time situations. As for price I will say that I traded my other 69 383 4 speed bee, a 66 STD. bore 426 hemi long block, 5 B body dana 60 rear axles, and an absolute ton of other good parts that it has taken me years to find...
Thanks guys I really appreciate that. Now if I can just learn to work on the thing. It is like starting over again for me since I am used to working and tuning on wedge motors. The car has set for several years and will probably need the carbs worked on some. I put a set of plugs in tonight. To...
Well I said I would start a new thread and post a few pictures of my new project so here she is. Its a 1968 426 hemi automatic on the column super bee. It is one of those things that I never thought I would ever have. I still can not believe that I do have the car in my shop. It's a real deal J...
Well Its with sort of a heavy heart that I report i have sold / traded my 69 Bee. The car went to Indiana. I looked a long time for a car as good as this one to start with and paid up for it plus the cost of having it moved here from Oregon. It put a bad taste in my mouth over the engine being...
Well I have been working on the 69 bee some as of late. I found another 69 383 HP engine from a friend and took it to the machine shop for inspection. It was still a together engine and was also standard bore. I had them do a light hone on the block and installed new rings and bearings. I also...
Man I got to so that Is a very Good offer. Either way I appreciate the offer to do that and I would love to come up and hang out and pull a few motors. I have already found a replacement E383 HP 69 model engine from a RM21 roadrunner. BTW you are also correct about another thing. It is a good...
