    How hard do u have to stomp them to get them to lock up? Have u had it on the dragstrip yet , and how hi could u stall it w/ the discs ? I found that mine dont hold as well as drums do when trying to hold it on the line .--------???

    Not so, I have a 15/16'' bore master on mine w/ 4 wheel manual discs, very little travel and great pedal heigth > normal really. I have been thinking about going to a 7/8'' master, but isnt that big a problem, altho I cant lock them up.

    I successfully used a vacuum canister w/ an air pump on a 600horse sbc . the power brakes worked great as long as u didn't keep pumping them. The check valve is very important, I had one on the vacuum pump in addition to the stock one in the stock master cyl. drum. remember intake vacuum and...

    A LOT OF A BODY GUYS IN THE PAST, HAVE BEEN RECOMENDED TO USE TWO "LEFT" SPRINGS IN THE WEIGHT OF UR CHOICE. Last post I read on the subject was by a mopar retailer.

    We used the 002-003 springs on a hemi/727 , 1967 belevedere, they worked pretty darn good ! It was tubbed an ran 14 to 16" slicks tho. The track prep back then absolutely sucked !

    back in the day, when s.s. springs were the hottest ticket, Chrysler always said it was better to go to a lighter spring than a heavier one for dragracing. You just may have to replace them once in a while. Tom Hoover even told us that in okc one time !

    I ran a hemi superstock type 67 belevedere for 14 yrs w/ 318 bars , it ended up being a drag only car, no problems. I was a straight line type guy for the most part.

    don` t know the answer to ur question, but we ran 002-003 springs on a 67,tubbed, hemi belvedere back in the day, wasn`t too high, and worked pretty well w/ the rear unclamped. couldn't keep clamps on the front, or a pinion snubber on it, it would tear them up! The tires back then really sucked...

    think I read where mancini, or dr diff. or some one recommended using two driver side springs for a level setting car , that would work on the street and strip.
