Yeah, done that but with a round blank Milodon dipstick in a round tube and clean oil it is very difficult to see exactly where that is. Was wondering what TTSaleen came up with for measurements using same components before cutting/marking dipstick
I’m having quite a time trying to figure out where the full and add lines should be on my Milodon stick as the oil is so clean, just wondering if you could measure where your add and full lines from the top of the stick?
Recently wrapped up a 6.4 swap into my 67 Charger using Holley mounts, headers and Borgeson box. I had to swap one of the steering gear bolts for a socket head and dent the number one header tube for clearance....
I am using the SST kit but it is designed for tranny to be in stock location. The Holley mounts move the engine about an inch farther forward so I had to lengthen the slots in the tranny crossmember to get the bolts in.
Here is a TKX behind a 6.4 crate Hemi using Holley mounts in a 67 B Body. Height of shifter "tower" and contact with the drivers side of tunnel result in more mods being needed than I hoped. I think I would get the tranny needed to match the power output of your engine.
The install directions with their 302-61 cast aluminum pan say to install "dipstick tube deflector" if using stock dipstick tube but omit if using a Holley "302-74" dipstick. OK, but for whatever reason a "302-74" dipstick doesn't seem to even exist. Has anyone used this pan? What did you use...
