Grabber, the one on the left is from a 63 or 64 b, the one on the right is more than likely from a 65 or later, 1/2 inch difference in the spring length from the eye to center on the 63-64. my 64 is a twenty inch and the 65's were 20.5. Dave.

I am getting all the components together to install a dual line external oil pick-up. has anyone had to trim the k-member to install the pump, or is this the SOP for the big pumps. if I am looking at it right I may have to take loose the drivers motor mount and raise the motor a bit also. the...
I cannot tell you which oil to use, I can however suggest what not to use, I changed my oil about 200 miles ago, I can sit in the car warming it up and you would think that it had 500,000 miles on it instead of the 600 or so that is on it!! smoke pouring out the back like the shop was on...
Yea, one is a little heavier than the other, the springs are the only pieces that will fit my car. as soon as I check with Kasey, I will know something. Dave.

I thought 3/0 would be fine too, the guy says it causes a problem with the MSD box?? first I have known about it, all the connections are done like a welding lead connection, wrapped with dead soft copper with a liberal coat of dieletric grease inside the connections. need more input. Dave.
