Make sure the castor is the correct degrees before welding or the bump steer will be bad.

A little more inspiration for you.Cool project and be prepared for a lot of one year only parts.Started as a rusty pile,fenders,1/4s,doors,trunk,floors,trunk pan,frame rail and a lot of hrs of eatin dirt and weld smoke.

Only the 489 case used the cone type,Daves car if still original i think should have a 742 case which is a clutch type.

Pretty good convertor builder right out you back door in Kimberly Will.I think the name is Automatic Rebuilding inc.Guys name is Pat Flynn and he is on Kennedy Ave justoff 441.Been doing it along time and always excellent trannys and convertors.

I have the collector plates,just so you know they do ask for pics and they dont have to be completely stock.Mine was in peices at the so i snatched some off the web of a similar car to send them.
