I just bought both left and right front floor pans for my early B body from these folks. Seem like they are going to fit well.
They are in Livonia Michigan...
Thank you for the reply. I purchased one from another member here, last week. Hopimg to receive it soon. As soon as I do, I will remove the post. Thanks again.
I have a complete 4.56 center section with a spool and a complete 5.13 center section with a suregrip. The 4.56 had some whine on deceleration after going through the traps. The suregrip in the 5.13 is nice and tight. I am in west Tennessee.
I have a driveshaft from my '65 Coronet which had the 904 trans and the ball and trunnion front u-joint. I believe that the same shaft was used with the 833 trans in '65. The 727 used a slip yoke. I had the ball and trunion rebuilt and new boot installed ($$$$) as well as the rear joint...
Where are you located? I have a spare which came from a '65 Coronet 318/727. They were all the same with the 727 however. The 904 or manual trans won't work because of the B&T setup. '65 727's were slip yoke.
They are around. Just need to keep your eyes open. I think Music City Mopars is having their swap meet soon. In the meantime, what about a 2bbl to 4bbl adapter? My Coronet had one with a 500cfm Edelbrock carb when I purchased the car a few years ago. The 273 actually ran pretty well with it. A...
I have a 1968 440 that is stamped D440. The block casting date is 6-29-67. This engine came in a full size Chrysler. Still has the 906 heads attached. I pulled the steel crank for another project. Pistons and rods still in engine. Engine has been on a stand since I pulled it from the running...
If you really need to just make a roller, consider using a piece of schedule 40 PVC pipe to connect the axles in the housing. Just slide the axles into the PVC pipe and they won't be flopping around when you put on your wheels and roll it around.
If memory serves me right, I thought that the 318 mounts could be used on an early hemi. I think that a 318 trans will also fit, but as I recall, a crank spacer is needed.
These are the spares that I have. Obviously, they are in decent shape, but not as nice as the ones now on my car. All the pins are intact. I think that they are better than most. If anyone wants more pics, please PM me with your email address and I'll get all 11 pics to you.
