    Thanks for the info. The reason I think it's a 6 bbl is it's externally balanced & I bought it with the original 6 bbl cast iron manifold.

    See the original post I updated it with a better picture of the VIN. It does have an "OF" or an "OE" in front of the # just can't tell for sure whch it is. Also the "2" 2nd to the end of the VIN could be a "3" hard to tell. Perhaps you can let me know which plant the "OF" and the "OE" is from.

    Not sure if that is an E or an F or nothing??? The casting # is 2536430-5 Casting date 5-14-69 The ID plate in front of the manifold is: "F 440" "11 10HP" Assembly date I've been told.

    The VIN# is "OF 122426" or "OE 122436" See photo below I have this engine. I believe it is an original Six Pak motor. If you have the car to match please contact me. Casting date is May 14th, 1969. [email protected]
