    1968 Plymouth GTX

Apparently one of the areas where Mopar saved a few pennies on most Plymouths... Pretty common on a Coronet R/T... Oh, 540 isn't the only way to get the belt line moldings.. Also part of package 353...

Just curious if anyone has seen this on a 1968 Plymouth sport satellite

The black organisol from the factory accomplished the same thing on my '69 GTX back in the day. It got new quarter panels after the spots turned to holes.

Where does his AMD part go on A pillar?

looks like the area you see when you open the door, the stainless part that holds the big weather strip screws to it, and the drip rail is part of it........ calling it a "lower" makes it confusing what they call the inner must be the part you see when inside the car that's covered by the A...

Driving 71 roadrunner clone 400 miles

Other than tracking down known leaks and noises and a check over of things already mentioned, If I have a planned long trip I like to drive the car on some short hops to build confidence and sort things out. Take a few 50 mile trips down the highway until you are comfortable that everything is...

AC car - conversion to new AC - advise

I used Vintage air, but I used a bulkhead connector further back towards the firewall. I didn't care for bringing it through the adjuster hole. I also used black nylon hose covering over the rubber hoses, I hate showing rubber hoses connected to a 10k engine. I also used Autoplumb AN hoses...

Wheel & Tire Combo for 64 2Dr Hardtop

You could also look at Mastercraft. Also a Cooper brand, also a white letter tire. 255 70x15 Mastercraft at Walmart, $116 bucks. Edit: Walmart site says $130, Google mastercraft 255 70 15, add says 116 at Walmart. I'd bring the Google add to your, local store and ask for that price.

Wheel & Tire Combo for 64 2Dr Hardtop

Agree. T/A's aren't as good as they used to be, and are about $40 /tire more than the cooper's. No brainer.

Now that I think about it those wheel bearings could be the source of the noise. I replaced the rear end fluid and checked the gears which looked really solid. I check under the car and the u joint looks good.

Wheel & Tire Combo for 64 2Dr Hardtop

Your 62 looks rad! Looking for driver tires. I only have 420hp out of my 383 and I am putting in a 2.76 rear gear for freeway travel. I want the Mickey tires but it's a costly pill to swallow. I was looking at Cooper Cobra website and I found this for the rear: 255/70x15 Cooper Cobra Radial G/T...

    Choke wiring question.

Yep! I have one in print but we let a mechanic borrow it years ago (late 1990’s) to do work on our Charger and it’s now falling apart. I’ll eventually get a new one, but in the meantime I’ll use the free versions online. I appreciate the heads up though!

The rear gears are in really nice shape the teeth look good. Ill pack the wheel bearings and replace the u joints. It has a new 340 and a rebuilt 904. The rear end was also rebuilt around 5-10 years ago. Tires are brand new so is the manual steering box I will be replacing this summer.

Gear bearings are in good shape and the drive train has been fully rebuilt by a reputable shop in Florida. It is a gear whine and it is very annoying and I would like to get rid of it before a long trip like this.
