    Transmission decisions

Yes that is A&A Their are quite a few parts that I would get from A&A or had to get...cause no one else had it. I would also recommend cope. Between cope and A&A you can built a great transmission. John Cope does really detailed videos on YouTube which is very helpful for us doityourselfers. I...

    WTB Aluminum center section

I have four, one is brand new, still in the box., I listed it here? a few months back, too pricey for most it seems. Mopar stated it was 10% stronger than the typical 742 carrier.

    Transmission decisions

So, there's quite a few of "A&A Transmission" companies out there doing performance transmissions. From North Carolina and Georgia to Texas and California. Do you have a link, address, or phone number of the one you're thinking of? I'm assuming this is the one... Home - A&A Transmissions

    64-65 4 speed trans

Thank you, that shows everything I need to know. Even thought it’s a console type it shows Trans mount location and shifter arms layout. The only difference is I’ll use a slip joint instead of trunion

I've installed a TF-2, but not a 3, and it was rather involved. The instructions are absolutely horrible.

    Rims for Big Brakes

Trying to nicely ask about modern rims without provoking vintage rim fans. I like the 60's look too, but imagine how much it would suck if I spent 5 years and much $ building my 72 Charger only to have it make my 90's Buick feel fast. I think I can accept the look of this rim - Kinda...

Nice. I like the earth tone colors. Rich looking. Business like. And don't run anything but steel wheels and dog dishes on my cars. If it needs a name I'd suggest "Sandy".

‘68 Charger Center Console Reverse Light Wiring

When installing the new switch, move the shifter into drive first. The bolt holes on the switch bracket are oblong so you can slide the switch back and forth to the correct position to engage the shifter when in reverse. After the switch is installed, check to make sure the shifter is engaging...

‘68 Charger Center Console Reverse Light Wiring

I unplugged the 2-prong wire connector and used the wobbly socket to remove the two bottom bolts. You can see here the switches compared to each other and the lever that must engage the shifter.

‘68 Charger Center Console Reverse Light Wiring

The lever on my switch that engages the shifter to activate the reverse lights was broken off. The lever is spring loaded and moves to the forward position when the shifter is in park, then back in reverse to activate the switch and reverse lights, and further back after the shifter is in...

‘68 Charger Center Console Reverse Light Wiring

Finally replaced the switch and thought I would add some pointers here to help anyone else trying to do this. The switch is held in with two 3/8” bolts on the bottom of the bracket and very difficult to reach with a tool. The metal bracket holding the plastic switch interferes with the bolt head...

    Cool Vehicle

I was surprised that it had semaphore turn signals. Maybe they were trying to make sure they didn't track over an infantry man's foot? The dedication and work to restore something that is the only running example in the world. I'm sure that it quite a process.
