    Bypass Ballast Resistor

The coil you are using determines whether or not a bal res is reqd with it. The Pert unit is just a 'switch' in this case that switches the coil current on/off. Bypassing/removing the bal res will burn out the coil if it is designed to be used with a bal res.....

    Sniper tuners Michigan?

Wondering if there is anyone on here that tunes sniper systems in Northern Michigan. I have a 66 Charger with a mild built 383 with the sniper one complete system on it. I know there is tuners in the Detroit area but that’s almost 4hrs away. Thanks in advance

No Suregrip - looked into it, but the pre-97 8 1/4 isn't worth building.

Diff Fluid for 8 1/4 no suregrip?

Don't forget the friction modifier for that sure-grip. Some brands claim to have it already blended in but I wouldn't trust that they take in to consideration, requirements for older differentials. It won't hurt to add an ounce or two.

1970 383 in 1969 Charger Not Running Right

That’s another issue I’m having. I had it tuned with the vacuum gauge and tried to adjust the timing, etc. and had it idling in Park at 950. I tightened everything down and had it set right, next time I start it, after the electrical choke kicks off now it’s at 2100 rpm after the chrome kicks...

    Pulley alignment challenge

I don't think so. I had a later water pump housing and was able to fit the Saginaw P/S pump to it, then I switched to an aluminum WP housing with the hose nipple on the driver's side. It fit that one just fine and the alignment was identical. I have a good sized stash of pulleys but very few of...
